Description
ViolMeta is a linguistic resource annotated with metaphors used by Italian parliamentarians to describe and discuss domestic violence in parliamentary speeches. The corpus is derived from ParlaMint IT 5.0: 300 texts have been annotated using ad hoc guidelines based on the Metaphor Identification Procedure (MIP; Pragglejaz Group, 2007).
The folder contains:
1) a sub-folder with annotated texts in IOB2 format;
2) a pdf file with the annotation guidelines;
3) an Excel file with the list of annotated metaphors for each class.
